History
IT ALL STARTED IN THE BACK OF GREAT GRANDPA'S TRUCK....
The year was 1938 and my great grandfather, Peter Guinta, was one of the first vendors at the CNY Regional Market at its opening. He drove to several different New York State farms purchasing the finest fruits and vegetables then sold them to customers out of the back of his truck. It wasn't long before his son and grandson became interested in the produce industry working together as a family business. When I was six years old, I distinctly remember going to the market spending my days learning about all of the behind-the-scenes operations necessary to run a produce company.
Today I am proud to carry on the tradition of providing the finest quality produce for our customers. "Guinta Goodness" is more than just a phrase - it's what our principles are based on - delivering only the best and making our customers happy. It is so rewarding to be able to go to work each day and truly enjoy what I do.
